antifungal, antimicrobial, emetic (causes vomitting), aphrodisiac, join pain, emmenagogue, antidiarrhea, vasodilator, antiviral. 
 
Emotional/Spiritual Properties:
Relationship problems (sister to cinnamon bark). Brings core issues to the surface very fast so that you can choose to work on them.
